Just joined after finding the Ubuntu compile thread .....

Hi Everybody,

I have just installed Synfig Studio into Ubuntu Jaunty and it works … have yet to discover the full capabilities of it but have seen some very professional animations created with it …

I look forward to learning more about how to use it … my past experience is with GIMP and Blender creating Gifs from single frames …

Thanks for the step by step compilation of the program … 2 files to do with gtk and xml were missing on my system … but all is ok now …
