Is it possable to have layer shortcuts?

Hello,

I have many layers in groups etc. making it difficult to access them. Is it possible to create shortcuts to these layers so I can modify them without having to look through lots of groups each time?

Thanks.

P.S. By shortcuts I do not mean keyboard shortcuts but shortcuts like the ones used on windows that reference a separate program or in this case a layer.

Yes, in Synfig terminology it’s called ‘sets’.
