Hi, I’m new to synfig and I’m trying to import a svg file via export in illustrator.
But when I import the file the canvas is empty.
Even though Synfig is “vector” it’s troublesome to directly import svg created from other programs because Synfig has its own unique sif file format. A trick you can use is convert all your vector objects to paths, save the file, and import it in Synfig. When imported Synfig will see those paths as splines and render them correctly on canvas. I use that trick on Inkscape.
Can you import SVG with Krita?
