Image Sizing Problems - HELP!

So I’ve imported a PNG, and I encapsulated it and all so that I’m able to move it. The thing is, I have no idea how to make it smaller! I have no idea what I’m supposed to do! I tried the scale tool, but that didn’t do anything, and I’m not sure what else to try. Please help?

Hi!

Select your png and drag one of the green dots diagonally to make the gif smaller or larger. For more precise control create a new scale layer above the png layer and play around with the numbers of the amount in the parameters panel of the scale layer. Don’t forget that you can create your own vector graphics with synfig which are a lot easier to manipulate then pixel drawings.

Greetz!

Thanks! Turns out I can’t scale it while it’s encapsulated, which is inconvenient but I’ll work with it anyways  Thanks for your help though!

The Group layer has a zoom parameter that will scale up or down whatever it holds.
