Hi… Came across Synfig while I was wondering how I might explore producing shadow puppet style animations of tradition folktales from Britain and across the world… some of the work I’ve seen so far done with it is absolutely awesome! You guys are such a source of creativity… and Synfig looks just amazing… I’m suspecting that it will take me a long time to even begin to scratch the surface. I love that this community exists, is so clearly multi-national and so active… I hope to spend a long time here 
Me… I’m a 53 year old web developer working in education but my passion is oral storytelling/folktales. I’m always looking for ways to engage people with the traditional tales of all our cultures. I live in the UK (England). I’ve installed Synfig Studio 1.0.2 on Linux Mint 17.2 and am just playing to see what I can do.
