I am a photoshop cs4 user and would like to learn to animate. I found this program online, downloaded it and now I am reading the manual. I came here so that I would be able to learn from other users. This is a whole new area for me. I thank you all in advance for any advice.

Apart from reading the manual, try some of the tutorials too. They can be really helpfull when trying to ‘get’ the fundamentals of synfig.
