Hello, all.
I have recently embraced FOSS and more recently taken up a project. Synfig Studios meets and exceeds my needs. However it comes with the price of a learning curve. I have collected the documents, saved wiki pages and downloaded YouTube tutorials for my offline study. I have followed a few tutorials, some more than once- playing with parameters and whatnot. The last two months I have been living and breathing (and dreaming) synfig. I look forward to learning and sharing in the future.
