Gaomon Tablet not working with Synfig

I read that Synfig doesn’t work with tablets outside Wacom. However, has anyone found a work around for Gaomon tablets?
Currently using Gaomon PD1560 graphic display tablet.

What happens is that when I try to enable the device, the program will crash as soon as I touch the display.

I just recently downloaded the program so I’m still very new to it.

Gaomon Tablet Problem

Well i downloaded the stable version 64bit, i have Windows 10 and I have the Gaomon tablet model PD1560. I need the Projekt until mid February and I guess i could try doing it with my mouse until the tablet would work. Thank you for answering so fast

Synfig may work with any tablet as long as they are HID device (like a mouse), not only Wacom.
But we can’t say if a specific model is compatible or not.
Anyway Synfig is not meant to draw

Graphics tablet unresponsive to Synfig

Here’s my recipe for getting the tablet kick started w/Synfig under win7. I have to open Synfig by double clicking on the application icon with the pen. If I use the mouse, then Synfig seems to ignore the tablet. (“No input device found”) Select File, Input Devices. Hopefully Wacom tablet pressure stylus will be listed (or something similar). Just selecting that with the pen seems to kick start the program to recognize Pressure, X tilt & Y tilt (otherwise, I only have 2 inputs listed - X & Y) C…
