# FreeCAD 1.0 logo refresh

Hi guys,

I made a logo proposal for my beloved parametric design software called FreeCAD (indeed open software)

Additionally I designed with **Synfig** a video explaining why I ended up with this design and why it should be picked up as their new logo, I hope you like the video:
