(fixed) Error opening file for writing

I’m having an issue trying to install synfig for windows, when I get to the folder and click “yes”, I automatically get an error stating “error opening file for writing”. This happens when I try on both 32-bit and 64-bit. What is the solution to this?

Edit: just had to make an empty file and choose that for the installation

For the record, under Windows, installs should be done with admin rights/uac if in Program Files or in a directory where your user has rights (under your own profile)
