Error in background in animation

I have a problem when rendering an animation in Synfig Studio.

My animation looks like this:

never mind that one wave doesn’t look right compared to the others, why is the background flashing and blinking like it is? it is supposed to just be blue?

Your download link doesn’t work so I’m guessing here. It’s because of the animated gif export not working properly. Select Imagemagick as target instead of gif in Synfig render settings and you should be alright.
