Hi,

I am looking for a vector-based animation solution for my game project. Spine and Creature are two popular commercial animation tools which provide an embeddable runtime for adding animations to a game engine without using pre-rendered sprite sheets or video (example: [http://esotericsoftware.com/spine-runtimes/](http://esotericsoftware.com/spine-runtimes/)).

I would prefer to have access to the editor source code, so Synfig caught my attention. I played around with Synfig Studio for a bit and so far I’m a fan.

So I’m wondering if there has been any work on something like this in the Synfig community before?

> Hi all, I’m a multi-media creative and new to Synfig. It seems to be an excellent, fluid and easy program to use. Please can someone give me the latest on whether you can use it for html animations, and if so, how? Cheers slight_smile
