# Does not show link to spline when trying to connect vertex to spline

In Synfig version 1.0.2 this function works perfectly and makes it much easier when animating clothing designs with details that require this type of functionality.

Already in version 1.4.2 is not showing this function.  
Does anyone know if this function has been removed from the program or has the way to do this changed?

You can’t link a vertex to spline. You can only link origin to the spline.

This feature was present in synfig dev v1.3.16 as well. Something must have gone wrong after that version.

Version 1.4.0 does not have this bug.

I submitted a fix that will be available in the next development version.
