cursor control

I have spent some time installing and exploring Synfig in Windows
XP with a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet. The cursor in the canvas window
is wildly out of control in the Y axis, and rather bizarre on the X.
Synfig sees the tablet puck as the input device, but there doesn’t
seem to be any settable parameters.

I’ve probably missed something basic. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. - jomo

The PS2 mouse works just fine…can’t have everything, eh? - jomo

 Yes. That one drove me crazy until I figured out what was happening. Somewhere between the Wacom drivers, GTK and Synfig there is a disconnect between where the mouse pointer is and where Synfig thinks it is.
The problem seems to be when the puck is in mouse mode - am I right?
The workaround is to go into the Wacom tablet properties and configure the mouse to work in pen mode (either for all applications or just for Synfig). That way when the mouse is positioned on a spot on the tablet, it’ll be at the same spot on the screen and in Synfig.

I’m still trying to figure out why the Wacom mouse scroll wheel doesn’t work in Synfig, but a PS/2 one does.
