Blank (black) mp4 render

Hiya :slight_smile:

When I render a simple 120f animation using ffmpeg (file extension .mp4 with the MPEG-4 AVC Lossless codec) @ 1920x1080 - The resulting file is a 5 second black video.

This is a recent issue where I could render this way previously, I cannot for the life of me work out what has changed. This happens on Mac and Windows

Any help or advice is truly appreciated :slight_smile:

Iā€™m using 1.4.4 64bit on Windows 10 and 1.4.4 on MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

Did you try with a 1.5.1 Dev?

Yep, on my Windows machine. Same result.

Is it working with other codecs?

Did you save the file before rendering?

MPEG-4 part 2. (XviD/DivX) works on both Windows 10 & MacOS
