# Another newbie arrives

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been using Synfig on and off for years but am now committed to extensive use of it in conjunction with VSDC Video editor for a YouTube channel I will be creating shortly called ‘Ancient Armies’, that focusses on the formations and tactics of the armies of Antiquity, notably Rome, Greece, Macedonia and the Successor States.

I have quite a few questions but I’ll save them for the relevant part of the forum. In the meantime I look forward to getting to know you all.

PS: where’s the straight smile smiley? 🤔
