Synfig will not save [SOLVED]

hello whenever I try to save a file from synfig I get an error:

“Unable to save to ‘C:\path\to\my\file.sifz’” How do I correct this. I have to rename my files if I want to save. I am using 64-bit windows 7. thanks.

Do you have write rights on that folder?

Yes, it’s a windows version problem, I think. I’ve tested on linux, it works.

I’m also having this problem. I’m also using the 64 bit version of Windows 7. I should have rights to every folder, and changing the folder where I’m saving doesn’t seem to make a difference.

I’ve been AWOL and hadn’t realized it had been fixed. Probably a useful thing to note in this thread.
