[solved] Rotate layer: problem at rendering PNG.

Hi.

I’d seen a strange error (or maybe I’m doing something wrong).

I have a rotate layer rotating a group. Synfig render it right in screen but, when I render frames to PNG, for make the animation, the rotate portion get poor quality. This a take of the problem:

I used cairo PNG as output. Max quality in video and antialiasing of 2.

Can you show us the right version?

Ooops, of course… I forgot to put it.

I’m using 0.64.0 (it is the version in Debian Testing).

the right version of PNG.

libPNG: 1.2.49-4
libCairo: 1.12.14-4

Please, forget this.

I was using quality video in wrong way. I put 9 when max quality is 1 as saw in this thread.

I tested with quality 1 and the rotation is better.

Sorry for the “noise”.

Good to hear that

No, it isn’t a noise. And I have to say sorry, I should describe in a more clear way. In fact, Genete and I asked you to post your right png image so that we can compare them and figure out the issue. But anyway, you just solved by yourself.

Enjoy your synfiging
